THE ONES TO WATCH

Scottsdale - Candice Eisenfeld's career is soaring. "Each time someone buys a painting it gives me that much more wind beneath my wings." Says the painter. Now able to devote herself fully to producing her large-scale, colorful, abstract landscape paintings, Eisenfeld confesses, This has been a major turning point for me-I can make a living doing this."

Eisenfeld moved to Arizona in 1995 to escape cold winter. Now a proud Tempe homeowner, she is delighted to be able to make her mortgage payments by her artwork alone.

A loyal and devoted following of collectors has been scooping up her work at Scottsdale's Vanier Galleries, where Eisenfeld has produced sold-out solo shows. The artist is not shy about her reaction to success: This is very exciting, I absolutely love it!"
